Invaded...about a month ago...YUK!!!
We laundered, sprayed, removed, vacuumed, powdered, vacuumed, laundered, scrubbed, vacuumed, vacuumed, laundered....
Finally, I set out flea traps and dusted the house with diatomaceous earth...left for 3 days - went to Crooked Creek for the holiday weekend!
Arrived home to a white powder covered space and over 100 fleas caught in the traps!!! The diatomaceous earth promised to dehydrate the fleas in about 5 days. 
After just over a week, a day of de-powdering and more vaccuming......I do believe we are FLEA-FREE!
