Once 42 acres of pasture and trees...divided, sold...10 remain, now completely surround by housing developments. And still wildlife abounds...adapting...courageous. Two young bucks grace my view as they graze outside my door in the early morning. Amazing! 
As this day closes, two lay quietly in the tall grass near the blackberries below my home...fireworks explode throughout the neighborhood...they, still undisturbed...and still amazing!

the deer are pretty amazing but i LOVE the fireworks photo! it looks like the american flag.
